The basis of the following paper is to analyze the possible relationship between aggressive behaviors among 7- and 10- year-old children with so-called theory of the mind and to make a comparison with children who do not exhibit aggressive behavior. As an approximation, Theory of mind, implies being able to generate a theory about what may be happening in the minds of other people, and thus be able to deduce the subsequent behaviors that can occur in the person, a predictive mechanism, (Tirapu-Ustárroz, G. Pérez-Sayes, & M. Erekatxo-Bilbao a, 2007). The theory of mind in child development provides skills for socialization, by generating knowledge about other people, and understanding what happens in the interaction with the other. (Pineda, 2011, page 229) We start from the questioning about the relation between the theory of the mind and the aggressive behaviors. Thus, the present research seeks to evidence the expression of mind theory in children with aggressive behaviors, and children who do not present these behaviors to know and identify in a comparative way the differences or similarities that generate new perspectives and ways of knowing the mechanisms of the theory of the mind. The children who will be part of the population are enrolled attending schools in the city of Bogotá; the comparison will be made by age and sex.
