El presente trabajo contiene una evaluación realizada a una institución educativa, con el fin de revisar la calidad de la educación preescolar que se brinda allí. Está enfocada en el currículo de preescolar del Colegio Oxford Bilingual School de Tunja, siendo el currículo parte importante en el desarrollo de las metas institucionales. Además, busca aportar razones al sector educativo sobre la necesidad de prestar un servicio de calidad en las instituciones educativas con acceso a la educación preescolar. Pero, teniendo como columna vertebral el currículo. Es decir, la investigación no solo pretende describir las características de un preescolar de calidad, sino enmarcar la relación que tiene el currículo en dicho proceso. Este trabajo está dividido en 5 capítulos, el primero contiene todo lo relacionado al planteamiento del problema, el segundo los fundamentos teóricos y legales que sustentan esta investigación, el tercero la metodología junto con el modelo de evaluación C.1.P.P. propuesto por Stuffelbeam y que lleva a la toma de decisiones en un determinado programa, el cuarto, presenta los hallazgos y resultados y el ultimo las conclusiones, recomendaciones y limitaciones de este estudio.

The present work contains an evaluation made to an educational institution, in order to review the quality of the preschool education that is offered there. It is focused on the preschool curriculum of the Oxford Bilingual School of Tunja, the curriculum being an important part in the development of institutional goals. In addition, it seeks to provide reasons to the education sector about the need to provide a quality service in educational institutions with access to pre-school education. But, having as a backbone the curriculum. That is, the research not only aims to describe the characteristics of a quality preschool, but to frame the relationship that the curriculum has in that process. This work is divided into 5 chapters, the first contains everything related to the approach of the problem, the second the theoretical and legal foundations that support this research, the third the methodology together with the evaluation model C.I.P.P. proposed by Stuffelbeam and that leads to decision-making in a given program, the fourth, presents the findings and results and the last conclusions, recommendations and limitations of this study.
