La violencia de género es un fenómeno social que ha ido presentándose cada día con mayor fuerza en nuestro país, las cifras que se muestran a diario no son nada alentadoras y el panorama de las mujeres resulta cada vez más incierto pues ahora no es solo la violencia que padecen por parte de sus parejas, sino que se encuentran con un nuevo tipo de violencia, la institucional quien en medio de las trabas, revictimizan, entorpecen y frenan los procesos haciendo que el fenómeno de la impunidad también se refleje en este tipo de casos. Por otro lado, surge una nueva premisa y es la de las barreras de acceso a la justicia a las cuales se ven enfrentadas las mujeres que deciden denunciar a sus agresores, teniendo en cuenta que la ruta de atención no es clara, empiezan a tocar puertas en diferentes instituciones buscando ser escuchadas, recibiendo soluciones u orientaciones que en realidad no resultan ser las más favorables sino las más riesgosas pues pueden llegar a ponerlas más en peligro, hasta el punto de ser víctimas de un posible feminicidio.

Gender violence is a social phenomenon that has been occurring every day with greater force in our country, the figures that are shown daily are not encouraging and the outlook for women is increasingly uncertain because now it is not only the violence they suffer from their partners, but they are faced with a new type of violence, institutional violence who in the midst of the obstacles, revictimize, hinder and slow down the processes making the phenomenon of impunity is also reflected in this type of cases. On the other hand, a new premise arises and it is that of the barriers to access to justice faced by women who decide to denounce their aggressors, taking into account that the route of attention is not clear, they start knocking on doors in different institutions seeking to be heard, receiving solutions or guidance that in reality do not turn out to be the most favorable but the most risky because they can end up putting them more in danger, to the point of being victims of a possible femicide.
