A lo largo del caso se plantea la decisión que debía tomar Samuel Huertas. dueño del proyecto Biohotel Organic Suites en el año 2014, quien asumió el reto de crear un hotel sostenible en la ciudad de Bogotá. La decisión principal está centrada en el análisis de las opciones de financiación para completar el capital necesario y determinar cuál de ellas es la más acertada. Dentro de la primera opción se encontraba solicitar a un banco un préstamo adicional para fmalizar el hotel de acuerdo con lo proyectado. teniendo en cuenta que en el momento ya se tenía un préstamo y dependía de la aceptación del banco para brindar el dinero solicitado y de la generación de los ingresos suficientes para el pago de la deuda. La segunda opción consistía en el ofrecimiento de la operación del hotel a una cadena hotelera que le ayudaría con el capital necesario pero que podría poner en riesgo el principal diferenciador del proyecto: la sostenibilldad. La última opción era el desarrollo de un hotel híbrido. que sería mucho más económico, pero sacrificaría el objetivo de sostenibilidad ambiental parcialmente.

Throughout the case, present the decision to be mademade by Samuel Huertas, owner of the Biohotel Organic Suites project in 2014, in 2014 who took the challenge of create a sustainable hotel in the city of Bogotá. The main decision is focused on the analysis of the financing options to complete the necessary capital and determine which of them is the most successful. The first option included requ~sting an additional loan from a bank to finish the hotel in accordance with what was projected, taking into account that at the time there was already a loan and it depended on the bank's acceptance to provide the requested money and on generating sufficient income to pay the debt The second option consisted of offe~ng the hotel operation to a hotel chain that would help it with the necessary capital but could put the main differentiator of the project at risk: sustainability. The last option was the development of a hybrid hotel, which would be much cheaper, but would partially sacrifice the goal of environmental sustainability.
