The purpose of this research is to address the mutual implications in the construction of the future, between the art of conjecture and the heuristics that take place when using a fuzzy hybrid simulation model in the construction of the future to face uncertainty during the processes of long-term strategic reflection. These links, which began more than five decades ago, become the reference framework and context for this research, since the benefits of Future Studies are recognized, but their limitations are also evident both in the French approach to strategic foresight, as in the approach based on the use of forecast models that focus their attention on mathematical modeling. Uncertainty can occur for many reasons, given the nature of the future, which sometimes makes predictable laboratory conditions prevail over the unpredictable and confusing conditions of the real world. Given the nature of the difficulties mentioned, the need arises to introduce in the process of building the future and specifically, in the strategic prospective, notions associated with Soft Computing or Intelligence Computing, offering a pathway of approach to reduce the uncertainty of the processes of long-term strategic reflection.
