La tesis realizada para la universidad Externado de Colombia en el Área de economía, trabajo y sociedad, tiene la finalidad de conocer los riesgos psicosociales en los docentes de zonas rurales del municipio de Saboyá, un municipio colombiano ubicado en la provincia de Occidente en el departamento de Boyacá. El interés recae en la influencia del contexto laboral como facilitador de la aparición de factores de riesgo psicosocial que puede poner en riesgo la salud física y mental del profesorado. Estos riesgos se encuentran en el trabajo, ya sea en las condiciones laborales, el ambiente, la organización, la carga de trabajo, el sistema de apoyo y supervisión y/o de la formación del trabajador. Se resalta a Boyacá como escenario de su ejercicio, sus desafíos y el factor económico, uno de los principales riesgos encontrados en esta población, ya que el salario más que un incentivo para ejercer una profesión, es una justa remuneración a la productividad de cualquier trabajador y cuando no se cumple será un incentivo negativo. Se espera contribuir y sumar investigaciones para la creación de estrategias a las cuales se les dé la relevancia necesaria que hasta entonces es reducida y resaltando siempre el bienestar del trabajador.

The thesis carried out for the Universidad Externado de Colombia in the area of economy, work and society, has the purpose of knowing the psychosocial risks in the teachers of rural areas of the municipality of Saboyá, a Colombian municipality located in the province of Occidente in the department of Boyacá. The interest lies in the influence of the work context as a facilitator of the emergence of psychosocial risk factors that can put at risk the physical and mental health of teachers. These risks are found at work, be it in the working conditions, the environment, the organization, the workload, the support and supervision system and / or the worker's training. Boyacá is highlighted as the scenario of its exercise, its challenges and the economic factor, one of the main risks found in this population, since the salary more than an incentive to exercise a profession, is a fair remuneration to the productivity of any worker and when it is not met it will be a negative incentive. It is expected to contribute and add research for the creation of strategies to which they are given the necessary relevance that until then is reduced and always highlighting the welfare of the worker.
