La relación entre turismo y música está asociada con festivales, obras universales o recorridos que reconstruyen la vida de los compositores o cantautores que han contribuido al buen vivir de los consumidores culturales. El artículo presenta la relación del turismo musical con el turismo cultural y el enfoque cualitativo de la investigación tiene el objetivo de identificar la importancia que tiene el turismo musical a nivel mundial y la tipología de los viajeros musicales, así como describir la importancia turística del festival musical en homenaje a José A. Morales, y resaltar el análisis en curso que tiene su obra para la comprensión del conflicto y el posconflicto en Colombia. La música se constituye en el medio pertinente para promover la memoria, el posconflicto y la reconciliación nacional desde la reconstrucción de hechos, prácticas y formas de intolerancia que llevaron al surgimiento y consolidación de múltiples formas de violencia (bipartidista, revolucionaria, narcoterrorista, paramilitar, etc.) en las provincias de Santander, durante el último siglo.

The relationship between tourism and music is associated with festivals, universal works or tours that reconstruct the lives of composers or singersongwriters who have contributed to the good life of cultural consumers. The chapter presents the relationship of musical tourism with cultural tourism and the qualitative approach of the research realized with the objective to identify the importance of musical tourism worldwide and the typology of musical travelers, and so, describing the tourist importance of the festival musical tribute José A. Morales, as well as highlight the ongoing analysis that has his work for the understanding of conflict and the post-conflict in Colombia. Music is a relevant medium to promote memory, post-conflict and national reconciliation from the reconstruction of facts, practices and forms of intolerance that led to the emergence and consolidation of multiple forms of violence (bipartisan, revolutionary, narco-terrorist, paramilitary, etc.) in the provinces of Santander, during the last century.
