En este documento se trata de exponer la importancia de determinar el objeto de evaluación como eje angular del proceso de aprendizaje, ya que a partir de él se puede determinar la planeación, las actividades, la metodología y los recursos que va a utilizar el docente en su quehacer dentro del aula. Además de analizar como el objeto de evaluación de los instrumentos de evaluación diseñados por los docentes tienen una incidencia directa en la calidad de la educación y que a pesar de que se han obtenido avances en Evaluación; todavía no se ha logrado llegar al corazón del aula y en especial al docente, quien es el que debe tener claro que evaluar, cómo se debe evaluar y frente a que referentes debe realizar la evaluación

This document explain the importance of detennining the object of evaluation as the fundamental axis in the learning process, being this determinant in the planning, activities, methodology and resources that teacher will use in the pedagogical work in the classroom. Besides analyzing the object of evaluation of the assessment instruments designed by teachers, which have a direct impact on the quality of education in the educational institution, and in spite of the progress made in Evaluation; it has not been able still to reach the heart of the classroom and especially from the teacher, Who is the person who should be clear about what to evaluate, how it should be evaluated and against which referents should perfonn the evaluation.
