This research was proposed in order to investigate how adults diagnosed with OCD understand their experience, how did they get diagnosed and how does it configure these emergent factors that make possible the meanings given by people, beyond the diagnosis itself. TOC From a constructionist position with authors like Gergen, Berger and Luckman where they indicate that reality and the subject are social constructions, likewise the meanings that people attribute to reality through the interactions they generate on a daily basis. The experiences come to light from the narratives made through interviews with 18 adults diagnosed with OCD, in Facebook blogs where the process of the meaning of the people was taken into account, the context in which the subject developed, the family a configurative and affective system of the subject's reality. It gives an account of the experiences based on the narratives made to 14 adults diagnosed with OCD, using Spanish-speaking Facebook blogs as an information collection tool. To interpret these narratives, the process of meaning construction, the context in which the subjects developed, and the family as a configurative and affective system of their reality were taken into account

Esta investigación fue planteada para indagar cómo entienden su experiencia las personas adultas diagnosticadas con trastorno obsesivo compulsivo, TOC, partiendo desde cómo llegaron a ser diagnosticadas y los factores emergentes de ese diagnóstico, para comprender cómo se configuran dichos factores en los significados que las personas otorgan a su enfermedad, más allá del diagnóstico mismo. La búsqueda se aborda desde una postura construccionista, con autores como Gergen, Berger y Luckman, quienes hacen indicaciones importantes respecto a la cualidad de construcciones sociales tanto de la realidad como del sujeto, de modo que el significado que las personas le atribuyen a la realidad se da por medio de las interacciones que generan diariamente. Se da cuenta de las experiencias a partir de las narrativas realizadas a 14 personas adultas diagnosticadas con TOC, utilizando como herramienta de recopilación de información los blogs de Facebook en habla hispana. Para interpretar dichas narrativas, se tuvo en cuenta el proceso de la construcción del significado, el contexto en el que se desenvolvían los sujetos, y la familia como sistema configurativo y afectivo de la realidad de estos.
