La doctrina de Acción Integral presentada por el Ejército Nacional complementa la conducción de las operaciones terrestres, tiene la habilidad para articular las capacidades de la institución a la acción unificada, es decir, la integración de actividades de las instituciones gubernamentales y no gubernamentales, y apoyar el cumplimiento de la misión en el territorio nacional. Así, es como el departamento de Acción Integral responde a la importancia que el Ejército ha dado a las actividades de apoyo al desarrollo y mitigación de factores de inestabilidad social en las operaciones en los últimos años, especialmente después de la firma del acuerdo de paz.

The doctrine of Integral Action presented by the National Army that supplements ground operations, has the ability to articulate the capabilities of the institution to unified actions, i.e., the integration of activities of governmental and non-governmental institutions and support the fulfillment of the mission in the national territory. Thus, it is how the department of Integral Action responds to the importance that the Army has given to the activities of support to the development and mitigation of social instability factors in operations in recent years, especially after the signing of the peace agreement. However, despite of the social impact that this department has within the Army, some of the activities remain unknown by the community, generating ignorance of the social work carried out by the institution. For this reason, it is necessary to highlight the activities carried out through the Integral Action Department, which has facilitated the approach to a social listening, strengthening the institutional framework in the regions that are victims of the armed conflict in Colombia.
