There is a historical and historical revision of Protestantism in Colombia and the proper development of the Pentecostal movement, its roots and its arrival in the country. Later there are some doctrinal elements of the Pentecostal religious movement, based on a case study of the Church of God Ministerial of Jesus Christ International, that allow to understand the behaviors and the economic attitudes of the believers. It shows the relationship of the Church with Colombian society and the current socio-economic system.

Se hace una revisión histórica e historiográfica del protestantismo en Colombia y el desarrollo propio del movimiento pentecostal, sus raíces y su llegada al país. Posteriormente se muestran algunos elementos doctrinales del movimiento religioso pentecostal, con base a un estudio de case de la Iglesia de Dios Ministerial de Jesucristo Internacional, que permiten entender los comportamientos y actitudes económicas de los creyentes. Se muestra la relación de la Iglesia con la sociedad Colombiana y el sistema socioeconómico actual.
