This research starts by recognizing the current situation that frames the low performance of students in their communication skills. It is urged to investigate on the other look, the teacher's view, specifically from the understandings that are around the communicative competence of the written language and its teaching, this from the teachers that accompany the cycle I where the foundations of said process are constituted. For it, the Theory of Social Representations is addressed as an axis to know and analyze the information and attitudes that are assumed by teachers from the question: What Social Representations have configured the teachers of Cycle I of the Colegio Alemania Unificada IED, about written language and its teaching? The results will allow to specify what are their conceptions or perspectives understood and applied from the teaching of the written language and to understand with it their limitations and possibilities.

Esta investigación parte de reconocer la situación actual que enmarca los bajos desempeños de los estudiantes en sus competencias comunicativas. Se insta por indagar sobre la otra mirada, la mirada del docente, específicamente desde las comprensiones que se tienen alrededor de la competencia comunicativa de la lengua escrita y su enseñanza, esto desde los docentes que acompañan el ciclo I donde se constituye los cimientos de dicho proceso. Para ello, se aborda la Teoría de las Representaciones Sociales como eje para conocer y analizar las informaciones y actitudes que son asumidas por los docentes partiendo de la pregunta ¿Qué Representaciones Sociales han configurado los docentes de ciclo I del Colegio Alemania Unificada IED jornada tarde, sobre lengua escrita y su enseñanza? Los resultados permitirán precisar cuáles son sus concepciones o perspectivas comprendidas y aplicadas desde la enseñanza de la lengua escrita y entender con ello sus limitaciones y posibilidades.
