Muslims live and act based on the norms established by Islamic law which includes all aspects of human life, from political life to food life, this one characterized by the consumption of halal food that, in addition to representing an important religious aspect for the life of the Muslim, also represents the ethics and responsibility of the human being at the time of the sacrifice of animals and the importance of the consumption of products suitable for human health. A study carried out by MINTEL during the year 2017 shows that the consumers of meat products in the world present greater interest in the sustainability of the meats they consume, worrying about making healthy and responsible purchases with the environment, in addition, it highlights the
importance of the traceability of the product ensuring that its procedure is as natural as possible and that its packaging and
labeling is sufficiently clear with respect to its origin and, even, buyers like the Millenials ensure they are willing to make
purchases at a higher cost in exchange for quality, sustainability and animal welfare (lnfroagrimundo, 2018). For this reason, a
business model based on the production of halal food products is proposed.
