Evolución de los retornos de la educación en Colombia en el periodo 2002-2010
During the 90's, law 30 of 1992 and law 115 of 1994 reformed the Colombian educational system. These reforms meant an increased number of workers with higher qualifications, which could eventually change the returns to education. This dissertation estimates some empirical models in arder to explore the evolution of the returns to education in Colombia during the period 2002-2010. There are three key conclusions: First, returns to education increased during the period 2002-2010; second, although there is still a salary gap between men and women, returns to education increased more for women; third, returns to education increased differently for each salary range.
