Estudio de caso: Colegio Darío Echandía IED(Bogotá : Universidad Externado de Colombia, 2018., 2018) Cala Acosta, Sol Angel; Calderón Ramírez, ManuelTaking into consideration the important advancements at world level in relation to women's rights to eradicate discrimination and all forms of violence; as well as the different national and international instruments that constitute the normative framework that generates obligations and responsibilities of strict compliance for the Colombian State, it is determined the procedure in which the inclusion and gender equality is taken into account in the coexistence process in the Darío Echandía IED College. This is an implementation of the Women's Public and Gender Equity Policy of Bogota Capital District, specifically as stipulated in the Educational Plan for the Gender Mainstreaming. The analysis is made using two instruments: the lnstitutional Educational Project (PEI) of the selected IED and the Manual of Coexistence. The PEI is the navigational chart of the educational practices and covers areas such as the design and development of the currículum, the governance of the institution, the cultural schemes and the institutional coexistence. The Manual of Coexistence is the instrument in which the rights, obligations and guidelines of behavior in the school environment are established for the students.
