- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoMigraciones en Colombia (ciudad-campo) : análisis al neoruralismo y las nuevas ruralidades en las afueras de Bogotá (Cundinamarca)(Bogotá : Universidad Externado de Colombia, 2018., 2018) Parra Delgadillo, JesueForced migration in Colombia, or forced displacement, has been a consequence ofthe historical development of the rural management of the country and the use of violence as a way of resolving conflicts. In this context, the present study frames the neorural phenomenon, where new frameworks of interpretation ofthe city-rural dynamics are needed. Thus, part of considering the hegemonic aspect of forced city-rural migration in Colombia, is to go beyond the historical discourse focused on the causes and consequences. The neorurality focused fundamentally on the limits of Bogotá, establishes different forms of organization that may be classified in two categories: the ecovillages and independent neorurals. An analysis was made ofthe historical relations of migration in Colombia from the hegemonic aspect (forced migration) of the countryside to the city, and the implications of the neorural phenomenon in the outskirts of Bogota. This study is divided in three parts. First, the historical development of migration in Colombia, its characteristics, effects and the hegemonic nature of the countryside to the city are identified. The second part examines historical lines in the conformation of the neorural phenomenon. Finally, two examples of transformations entailed by the emerging neoruralism in the country are characterized.
