It is urged to investigate on the other look, the teacher's view, specifically from the understandings that are around the communicative competence of the written language and its teaching, this from the teachers that accompany the cycle I where the foundations of said process are constituted. For it, the Theory of Social Representations is addressed as an axis to know and analyze the information and attitudes that are assumed by teachers from the question: What Social Representations have configured the teachers of Cycle I of the Colegio Alemania Unificada IED, about written language and its teaching? The results will allow to specify what are their conceptions or perspectives understood and applied from the teaching of the written language and to understand with it their limitations and possibilities.
