- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoEl cáncer como experiencia subjetiva en el desarrollo de estrategias de cooperación en grupos de apoyo : el caso de la red social Facebook(Bogotá : Universidad Externado de Colombia, 2019., 2019) Alba Tenjo, Carol Johanna; Valencia Lara, Sandra CarolinaThe objective of the research is to understand how the experience of having been ill with cancer is related to the generation of help strategies in the case of virtual support groups on Facebook, the participants of this research were 4 cancer survivors who decided to resignify his experience of having suffered this disease by creating cooperation strategies in social networks. With diverse psychosocial profiles, each one found in solidarity the best method to recover his life and heal the psychological and emotional wounds caused by the disease. To fulfill the objective of the investigation, the axiological structure of the research participants and the virtual communities analyzed were apprehended through a phenomenological design that analyzed various discourses intending to understand the intersubjective construction of the meaning attributed to the disease. In this sense, the resignification of cancer allowed us to understand and systematize the social, psychological and emotional processes that develop at the limit of life, especially those that have a latent risk of death. The experience of people leads us to understand that overcoming the disease gives a collaborative sense to the lives of the survivors, thus, the social construction of the collaboration strategies found allows us to assert that the survivors develop methods of psychological and emotional support according to their interests and the dynamics of the interaction of virtual communities.
