    The present study is an approved research proposal to opt for the title of PsychoIog ist , which was based on the reading and analysis of the degree works developed by the undergraduate students of the programs of Anthropology, Philosophy, History, Psychology and Social Work Of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the Externado University of Colombia, a study that was developed from a mixed qualitative and quantitative descriptive - exploratory model, with the general objective of describing emerging trends and notions arising from the themes developed in the Degree work from the research area Health, Medical Knowledge and Society. In order to fulfill the general objective, two specific objectives were proposed responding in a sequential way to the approach of the same one, the first of them: To unveil emerging notions regarding he health processes - illness and health justice, by analyzing the content of the works Of degree; And second: Carrying out a bibliometric study to establish indicators of emerging trends in numerical terms.

    Dolor y cáncer: un acercamiento antropológico a los procesos de significación del dolor en la enfermedad

    Esta investigación se desarrolla en torno a las experiencias de aquellos denominados enfermos y todas las formas posibles e imposibles de vivir, comunicar y narrar su enfermedad. lncluye una indagación tanto de los diagnósticos biomédicos, como también de la experiencia de los pacientes frente a este tipo de enfermedad. Está planteada como un intento por conocer y describir cómo se construyen significaciones del dolor en el cáncer desde la perspectiva y la experiencia del denominado paciente; un dolor que indiscutiblemente es hallable en el cuerpo y que a su vez es expresado a partir de la noción del cuerpo como narración de la enfermedad. El dolor parte desde el cuestionamiento de la legitimización del saber biomédico, pero, además, incluye también una dimensión social que no debe obviarse. Lo obvio puede pasar de ser lo conocido a lo desconocido, para precisamente fundamentar el ejercicio antropológico: desprender la mirada rutinaria para comprender e interpretar los aspectos y las representaciones de lo llamado típico, de lo obvio.

    The research presents the narrative of origin of the Kótirya people, settled in the region of Vaupés, Colombia and the part of the Vaupés River in Brazil. lts purpose is give an account from the narrative, you have your own conception, about health, body and disease, as the central axis of the life structure of the Kótirya, wriich turns out to be the very sustenance of their practices and own knowledge, in which preventive health is privileged in the first order, and curative as the last action. To do this, the word, dialogue and walking are used as a resource, as a reference yo the oral memory of a savant, which leads us to the origins, the announcement of the first ancestors and of these, to the first humanized grandparents who directed the ancestral territorial settlement canoe or anaconda, the struggle for power of mimíia phona between men and women, the creation of dualities and time, ali of them as a source of life, the risks that the human being would run from there, manifested in well-being and illness.

    Meditación lam-rim como alternativa terapéutica para la salud en monjes budistas y practicantes

    El presente estudio busca entender las experiencias de monjes budistas y practicantes de la meditación Lam-rim del Centro de Meditación Kadampa de la ciudad de Bogotá, Colombia. El objetivo principal es generar conciencia sobre los beneficios de la misma y así identificar la importancia de su uso como complemento terapéutico para la salud. Lo anterior para generar compañía en los usos de la medicina alopática como sistema médico convencional y como apuesta para la promoción y prevención de la salud mental, física y social. Estudiar y explorar la meditación desde el campo narrativo permite entender como los usuarios de la meditación transforman su vida a través de la practica y así hacer un análisis en las profundidades del sentido y los significados de la trayectoria vital de cada uno.

    ¿Qué fue el cáncer para nosotros? : estudio de caso en mujeres y miembros de su familia después de la experiencia vivida

    The present article is the result of the research carried out in the area of Family and specifically in the line of gender and generations of the Externado University of Colombia. Returning to the testimony of seven women who have lived a cancer experience, where the changes and transformations have gone beyond the physical as the impact was not only experienced by these women but also by each of their families, emotionally speaking. and of course functional within the family system. Thus, the reconstruction of the meaning attributed to a disease such as cancer allows us to account for the implications that this experience has generated in the family environment. Likewise, it also seeks recognition of the changes identified from the personal experience of each woman and from the experience of one of the family members, evidencing that both at a personal level and at a family leve!, cancer has been a cause of ill health but it also ends up becoming a mobilizing element. lt raises a reflection about the role exercised by each of these women in the family environment and identifies how such a complex and silent disease is unleashed in these cases, blurring the terrifying idea of cancer as a carrier of death and loss.

    Ritual de exorcismo : nociones de salud enfermedad y sanación a partir de las misas de liberación del padre “Chucho” en Bogotá, Colombia

    En el presente documento se evidencia cómo se vive y se percibe la Posesión Demoniaca, el Ritual de Exorcismo y las Misas de Sanación ofrecidas por el padre Jesús Hernán Orjuela "Padre Chucho" en la ciudad de Bogotá, en la iglesia Católica Jesús Amor Misericordioso. Así, a partir de un abordaje etnográfico, se evidencia cómo en éste espacio se entrelazan experiencias y se configuran nociones como "sanar" "liberar", "enfermar" y '"dañar" que posibilitan hablar de una construcción social y cultural de la salud y la enfermedad entendidas desde "el Bien" "el Mal" "Dios" "el Diablo" y contextos sociales, politices. económicos y en últimas religiosos de cada persona en estado de posesión demoniaca. Para la realización de ésta tesis fue necesaria la revisión de fuentes bibliográficas, cinematográficas, la inmersión de parte mía en "el mundo del mal'' en el Cementerio Central de Bogotá y mi participación como asistente a tas misas de liberación. Al establecer relaciones entre lo percibido en las misas y algunos testimonios de sus asistentes, muestro el entramado de fuerzas que se mueven allí y dejo la puerta abierta a futuras investigaciones que puedan abordar aspectos en los que no tuve la posibilidad de adentrarme un poco más.
