"; in this order of ideas for a technical institution or technology, provide training in job skills, it makes sense, but for an institution of academic order is a challenge. This analytical descriptive research, explores on general skills (CLO) proposals by the Ministry of national education (type personal, interpersonal, organizational, technological, intellectual competitions and) business and entrepreneurship), and the CLO held in school, identifying such skills in graduates and the analysis of its strengths and weaknesses in accordance with the requirements of its working life, and the competencies listed in the IBP and manifesting to guide the teachers from the institution. Concluded, that the school strengthens the personal, intellectual and interpersonal and empty the technological, business and organizational features.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoCongruencia entre los perfiles ideal, en acción y de egresado del IED Paulo Freire(Bogotá : Universidad Externado de Colombia, 2019., 2019) Castillo Díaz, Galmher Arnold; Vargas Amaya, JorgeThe following evaluative research arises from the need for characterizing the coherence level among three institutional profiles: the ideal, the landed in action by teachers, and the real reached by alumni, from a particular Bogotá's IED, the Paulo Freire school in this case, whose sociocritical focus, framed in constructivist methodology layed in its institutional philosophy, specifically in its PEI, greatly contrasts with the propaedeutic model predominant and transcendental in pedagogical practices, due to the institution·s technical focus. Kirkpatrick's Four levels evaluative model and Glaser y Strauss· Grounded theory, were used for quanti and qualitative purposes respectively. The three profiles were characterized for further comparison. To store data, severa! academic members as alumni, students, teachers and the principal, were interviewed and queried. Among the findings, an important milestone was the fact that alumni's real profile in sorne soft competences, did not reached even a medium leve!, becoming insufficient to reach a successful performance in college or working activities after school. Reasons for which improving congruence among the three profiles, by means of intervening the PEI, was recommended.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoEvaluación de la pertinencia del "programa de formación titulada asistencia administrativa" en el colegio Fernando Mazuera Villegas IED(Bogotá : Universidad Externado de Colombia, 2018., 2018) Devia Triana, Elsa Adriana; Henao Escobar, JuanitaIn Colombia, secondary education offers options for academic or technical training, and seeks to prepare students for entry into higher education and the world of work, in accordance with the provisions of Law 115 (1994, art. 27). The MEN established the project "Competencias Laborales, Formación para el Trabajo y Pertinencia de la Educación Media" and the "Programa de Articulación con la Educación Media Técnica" in order to form both capacities and abilities of the students and to facilitate their mobility between different levels and educational offerings. The "Administrative Assistance Qualified Training Program" is a technical media modality offered by the Fernando Mazuera Villegas IED School and is part of the Articulation with the SENA. lt is in high demand, but since the measure of its scope was not known, it was considered useful to make an evaluation of its relevance (correspondence between the program and the training needs of the students). The study considered the following variables and categories: characteristics of the students linked to the program, their expectations, their leve! of satisfaction, the work competencies they develop, and the occupation of the graduates. Likewise, it sought to establish the strengths and weaknesses of the methodological strategies, the vocational orientation and the follow-up of active students and graduates.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoEvaluación del sistema de egresados de la Universidad del Tolima(Universidad Externado de Colombia, 2021) Prías Márquez, Erika Yamile; Angulo Linero, Gabriel JoséLa tesis de grado da cuenta del ejercicio de investigación adelantado en el marco del proceso de formación de la Maestría en Evaluación y aseguramiento de la calidad de la educación, el problema de investigación abordado fue enfocado a las nuevas exigencias del Ministerio de Educación Nacional – MEN- para la obtención de la acreditación institucional. Específicamente se ha abordado el tópico de los egresados y sus correspondientes características con la intención de valorar el grado de correspondencia existente entre estos y las actividades, programas y políticas que tienen lugar en la Universidad del Tolima. Así pues, se debe entender la importancia que tiene para las instituciones la obtención de la acreditación institucional, para demostrar su calidad académica. Se ha realizado la revisión de antecedentes sobre el tema y es pertinente destacar que, si bien se ha encontrado bibliografía sobre evaluaciones realizadas a egresados, no ha sido posible identificar estudios que se enfoquen en la revisión de las exigencias del MEN respecto a las actividades adelantadas y cuáles puedan ser las recomendaciones a las instituciones a programas. Se adelantó una investigación evaluativa que permitió revisar los resultados comparados con las metas que deben ser trazadas en la Universidad del Tolima

Los estudios de seguimiento a egresados se presentan como una buena fuente de información para la mejora institucional, para realizar los ajustes curriculares pertinentes y como un factor determinante al momento de adelantar procesos de renovación de los registros calificados de los programas académicos y acreditar una institución como de alta calidad. Es por esto, que es de vital importancia evaluar los procesos que se adelantan en este campo para garantizar una óptima utilización de los datos suministrados en miras de la mejora continua.

All this implies the necessity to join forces and create cooperation bands among the national government, and the middle school and higher education institutions to strengthen the public policies to benefit of the young people who once have finished their secondary school and do not have the chance to access to unviersity in an easy way at any technical, technological or professional level. Due to this issue which affects the colombian State, the necessity for researching that let us know the strategies for accessing higher education for the young is emerging. Under this necessity, a sistematization of the experiences regarding the process of articulation of the middle and higher education has been carried out in the public-school Tom Addams in the years 2017 and 2018 in the agreement 1638 2017, endorsed between the Education Local Office and ECCI University.
