- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoEvaluación del plan municipal de bilingüismo “Mosquera lives english”(Bogotá : Universidad Externado de Colombia, 2018., 2018-04) Guacari Vizcaya, Ilda Yanett; Arcila Cossio, AdrianaThe evaluative investigation of the Municipal Bilingualism Plan "Mosquera Lives English" was developed in order to analyze to what degree this program has contributed to the strengthening of bilingualism in the public schools of Mosquera in the Department of Cundinamarca. Hence, in order to conduct this study, the document was reviewed in terms of: objectives, goals and strategies; as well as an analysis of the evolution and the trajectory of the results of the English exams "Saber" for 11th graders since the year of the start of the implementation of the plan, 2016. Similarly, some of the participants of the program were consulted, including: The English teachers from the public teaching institutions, the teaching directors, the bilingualism coordinator, the bilingualism advisors, and the Head of Quality from the Education Secretariat of Mosquera. All of this in order to gain a more compete perception of the execution and results of the plan after five years in development. Finally, this investigation found that bilingualism in the public educational institutions of Mosquera was strengthened significantly; improving the level of English of the students in the English exam "Saber" for 11th graders in the last years, with scores even above the departmental and national average among public institutions of the country.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoGestión del programa nacional de bilingüismo en el colegio Bosanova IED(Bogotá : Universidad Externado de Colombia, 2018., 2018) Ayala Camacho, Claudia Katerine; Caballero Sánchez, JavierThis research describes and analyzes the management performed by Colegio Bosanova IED for the implementation of the National Bilingual Programme (NBP). By means of a descriptive and qualitative research, this study characterizes the management strategies that the school have carried out, through the information contained in institutional documents, questionnaires and interviews. In addition, this research describes the national frame of bilingual policy in order to develop a depth analysis of the Programme management in the school. Finally, this study suggests actions to optimize the implementation of the NBP in Colegio Bosanova IED. This research found that the school has carried out actions from the four management areas (directive, administrative/financial, academic and community) that have made progress in the Programme implementation. Though these actions are related to the strategic management model, it is necessary to foster a deeper knowledge of the NPB aims and lines of action. It is also important to assess and evaluate the Programme implementation in the school, to establish agreements among teachers, students and parents in order to strengthen the participation of the whole community in the policy implementation.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoPercepciones de la identidad nacional desde una aproximación a colegios distritales en Bogotá(Universidad Externado de Colombia, 2020) Mejia Jimenez, Juan DiegoLa identidad nacional ha sido foco de discusión y reflexión en los últimos siglos por diferentes sectores sociales con diferentes intereses, ya sean estos intereses políticos, económicos, culturales o militares, reconociendo el gran valor simbólico y estratégico de controlar esta esfera presente en diferentes estados nacionales, los cuales presentan características y configuraciones diferentes dependiendo del contexto y de la historia compartida. De tras de la identidad nacional se esconde un poder de dominación y de emancipación que parecen estar en constante pugna, el desarrollo de la tesis presenta de manera coherente el trabajo teórico observando así en el capítulo 1 la configuración y proceso de los estado-nación, en el segundo capítulo se observa la construcción de categorías-tipo de identidad nacional encontradas en los colegios estudiados y por último lugar, en el tercer capítulo se encuentran los análisis pertinentes de los datos recogidos.
