    The present thesis analyzes the concept of "contract object" in the stock purchase, as well as it's legal relationship with the buyer's interest regarding the company's activity and the economical background of the issuing company of the aqcuired shares. In this context, the legal means offered by the Colombian legal system to the buyer are studied in arder to protect said interests; In addition, the paper studies the contractual mechanisms or clauses that are often used to protect the interests of the buyer in relation to the issuing company.
