    Avances y retrocesos de la construcción de paz : un estudio comparado entre las regiones de Catatumbo y Caquetá

    In november 2016, the signing of the final agreement for the termination of conflict and the construction of a stable and lasting peace between the FARC-EP and the government of Colombia was signed. The historical event has revived the national debate of the war and the ways in which peace-building processes have been conceived as a feasible horizon for the country. The approach, in which the bases of the agreement is build, relates to what the government called territorial peace, including the transformation of the conflict from the strengthening of the state's capacity and the promotion of citizen participation, as fundamental elements for the sustainability of peace building processes (Jaramillo, 2014). This investigation embraces the discussion by pointing out that the combination of these two strategies constitutes a more realistic formula to address the challenges and needs of the territories with histories of violence based on a case study compared between the territories of Catatumbo and Caquetá.

    En 1999 los paramilitares irrumpen en la región como una fuerza de ocupación, desatando una ola de violencia con las guerrillas que también ejercían control territorial en el Catatumbo, quebrando el tejido social de los catatumberos. Producto de ello es la transformación territorial reciente por el conflicto armada presente en la zona. Originando tensiones territoriales entre campesinos e indígenas Barí. Fotogramas del Catatumbo es una investigación que abarca estos tres grandes temas desde la estenografía y lo visual.

    La Política Nacional de Consolidación y Reconstrucción Territorial (PNCRT) en el Catatumbo: elementos para un balance a partir de un enfoque institucional (2013-2016)

    This article explores the relationship between formal and informal institutions in a territory intervened under the National Policy of Consolidation and Territorial Reconstruction (PNCRT Acronym in spanish). It raises the importance of understanding the rules of the game of society beyond the formal and the obstacles that these impose on the processes of state intervention in territories that have or had the presence of armed structures. The problem is approached from an institutional economy approach and obeys a micro subnational analysis. Toe results show the type of relationship between formal and informal institutions, as well as their impact on the implementation of PNCRT in the territory.
