The accreditation processes have been developed for severa! years in sorne countries, are implemented under the guidance and guidancé of private entities and govemment. In Colombia, accreditation processes seek educational transformation. The National University of Colombia has been a pioneer in carrying out accreditation processes. The Faculty of Engineering, for its part, is committed to the guidelines, the quality of education, and therefore, the process of self-evaluation and accreditation begins in 2006. The electronic engineering program is its process of self-evaluation and accreditation since 2007, the process was renewed in the year of 2014, in which it obtained accreditation for eight years. This research evaluated the participation of teachers in the accreditation processes of the Electronic Engineering program, identifying the scenarios and methodologies to promete it, as well as the strengths and weaknesses that participation.
