The Cercado grande de los Santuarios is characterized as a site with great ritual importance for the Muisca culture, where celebrations took place and chief fences were found. For this reason, this research analyzes the relationship between the use and consumption of the fauna recovered in previous archaeological excavations at the site of the Cercado, to identify if there is a differential consumption of animal protein that allows to infer social inequality between the different sectors of the site.
